Brookfield Road Project 2026

Road project is well underway! Brookfield Road is currently only open to southbound traffic. Some parking is available on the west side of the street. People are highly encouraged to use the Hoffman lot, Pleasant Street lot, or the business they are visiting’s parking lot as much as possible! Speed limit currently 20 mph in efforts to keep everyone safe and give people time to navigate traffic pattern changes. Pedestrian access will remain as consistent as possible with small changes as needed. (See city road construction website for more detailed information)

Next phase: Water work will begin Tuesday 7/14 (weather dependent) and run through the week and into the following week. At night, we will be shutting the water off to complete necessary repairs. There will be construction noise and additional lighting to complete the work overnight. On Tuesday 7/14 we will be impacting water customers between approximately North Hills Dr and Hoffman Ave. Water may be turbid/dirty when you turn it on in the morning so let it run for a little bit and it should clear up.
